3/1 Boundary stone c 600 metres
north west of Newby Moor
Parish boundary stone. Probably early to mid C19. Painted millstone grit slab.
c 1 metre high and c 1 metre wide. Two horizontal scored lines between which is
inscribed 'INGLETON' and 'CLAPHAM', separated by a vertical V-shaped groove.
