House, now inn. Early C19 with possible late C17-early C18 origins and C20
additions. Pinkish-brown brick to front and narrow, orange, hand-made bricks
to rear ground floor, with pantile roof. Central hallway plan with C20
outshuts to left gable and to rear. 2 storeys, 2 first floor windows.
6-panel door under radial fanlight with glazing bars beneath elliptical arch.
C20 pivoted windows to ground floor with C20 slatted shutters. First floor:
16-pane sashes in flush wood architraves. All windows under cambered arches
of gauged brick. Plain eaves band. End stacks. Interior has been completely
renewed. Included for group value.
