Lodge and gateway. 1829, for Sir Humphrey Osbaldeston. Vermiculated
sandstone; with iron gates. Ruinated Gothic arch, flanked by two 2-cell
lodges. Tall pointed arch of three orders, flanked by walls. 2-storeys,
regular fenestration. Iron-studded doors within the arch , to left and
right, in pointed openings beneath stopped hoodmoulds. 2 lancet windows to
left and right of the arch, with diamond-paned iron glazing bars. Single
lancet windows to first floor. Shaped iron gates with 4 painted iron
