ST 65 NW CLUTTON UPPER BRISTOL ROAD (west side)

Methodist Church. Dated 1810. Incised render to entrance front, rough render
to side walls, freestone openings, slate roofs. 2 storey, 2 bay east front.
Lower windows are 8-pane sashes, upper are similarly sashed with round heads.
All have keystones and sills. Central 2-leaf plank door in round-arched surround
with patterned fanlight. Datestone between upper windows, parapet with concave
curved ends, hipped roofs. Interior. Fine contemporary interior with panelled
gallery on cast iron columns on 3 sides, central pulpit with steps up at west end,
panelled walls, benches and plank roof. Schoolroom behind west end.
