Large boundary stone, 1835 dated. Hard sandstone. Large stone
about 50 cm. square and 1.4 m. high. Inscribed on east face GALLOW
HOW D (for Danby) W (for Westerdale) 1835. Marks the corner where
the parish boundary turns westward.
