School and schoolmaster's house and railings surrounding both properties.
1864 with extension of c1880. Ashlar and Welsh slate roof. Schoolmaster's
house to west, school with large open schoolroom to east and extension to
north. High Victorian Gothic style. School: one tall storey. Central 3-
light transomed window flanked by paired trefoil-headed windows. Oriel
window to right gable end. Entrance to left: board door beneath hoodmould
with worn label stops. Plaque above bears inscription "Remember now thy
creator in the days of thy youth". 3-light window to left with lintel
inscribed "1864", and 2-light half-dormer above. To extreme left: gable end
of schoolmaster's house with bay window and paired trefoil-headed windows
above. Schoolmaster's house: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows and outshut
to left. Central board door beneath overlight in stone doorcase flanked by
3-light mullion windows. 2-light mullion window to outshut. First floor:
single-light trefoil-headed windows flanked by paired trefoil-headed windows
in gablets. Gable coping. Left end stack and stack rising through rear
pitch of roof.
