Circa 1862 by Lockwood and Mawson. Chapel. Hexastyle Corinthian facade with six bay return. Two storeys with semi-basement podium. Slated roof. Grit stone ashlar with rusticated ground floor end bays. Corinthian pilasters rise from ground floor plinth carrying consoles, bracketed entablature and pediment with foliated centrepiece in tympanum, inscribed 'Wesley Methodist Chapel 1862'.First floor with round arched windows with archivolts, imposts and console bracketed pediments to end bays; segmental-arched ground floor windows. Entrances in central three bays approached by steps; round-arched doorways with imposts, archivolts and console-keys with fanlights and panelled double-doors.
