Hunters Lodge (formerly
4/7 listed as South View)

House. Late C18. Coursed squared gritstone, Westmorland slate roof. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Quoins. Central doorway now contains C20 small-pane fixed
window. Incised lintel. 16-pane sash windows with chanelled lintels and
stone sills. Round window with plain surround under eaves, centre. Shaped
kneelers, ashlar gable coping, corniced end stacks. The house is flanked by
possibly original single-storey bays with side-sliding sash windows and
lean-to roofs.
