Woolleys Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. C17 with C19 windows. Rubble, brick stacks, pantile roof. A
3 room cross passage plan with added wing at north-west corner, near road.
Two storeys, 3 windows, small 2 and 3 light wood casements with horizontal bar,
set to wood lintols. Between windows 2 and 3 a plank door with glazed panel.
Ridge stack to left of passage and large external stack to right gable end.
Back has plank door to passage; above left a small 2-light casement, and above
right a small single light, possibly to original staircase. Left gable has
an attached lean-to porch, not of special interest. Wing at back in I½ storeys
with casements to gable end. Interior: not inspected, but has chamfered and
stopped transverse beams to rooms each side of passage.
