Circa 1800 former farmhouse. Two storeys sandstone "bricks" including back under
one stone slate roof. Sawn ashlar kneelers to gable ends, spaced brackets to the
eaves. No 403 retains original 2 light square mullion windows. No 405 has C19
sashes being a later conversion. Barn doors replaced by garage entry. Plain house
door in squared stone surround.
