C17 farmhouse refronted circa 18OO. Two-storeys, sandstone "brick" front with flush
quoins. Stone slate roof with corniced chimneys. Three windows symmetrical about
squared jamb doorways, tripartite square mullioned in squared flush frames. Rear
outshut of coursed gritstone has 2 and 3 light chamfered mullion windows and a
former 2 light altered to glazing bar sash in the early C19. Four centred arch
doorway with heavy lintel dated 1634. Interior altered, some stop chamfered beams.
