Throstle Nest Farmhouse and

adjoining barn at right angles
SE 1835 24/510


Mid to late Cl8 small farmhouse and barn. Two-storeys, sandstone "brick" with flush
quoins. Stone slate roof with saddlestones and kneelers. Barn at right angles with
segmental archway. Probably an early C19 addition. Three window front, C19 sashes
in squared surrounds. Central doorway with squared jambs. Rear full width outshut.
