Circa 1820 three-storey and basement house as terminal feature of cottage row climbing
hillside. Sandstone "brick" with stone slate roof. The narrow south end is shaped
as full height canted bay with squared stone surround square mullioned windows; the
roof hipped over this end. Two light square mullioned windows to east entrance
front and plain squared jamb doorway. The south end is an important feature as seen
from Market Street.
