Re-erected doorway from Bradford Hall which stood facing Kirkgate. Dating
from 1705-07. Architrave eared doorcase flanked by panelled plaster strips
with finely carved acanthus leaf consoles supporting broken scrolled pediment
containing the arms of the Rawson family. Sandstone ashlar. The doorway is
set against a section of walling with rusticated quoins and swept Dutch gable
surmounted by pineapple finial. A niche has been formed behind the doorway
with a scrolled framed cartouche panel stating its origin.
