2. Late C17 or early C18 farmhouse altered circa 1786 in association with Stockhill House. Two-storeys, coursed gritstone with flush quoins. Stone slate roof with circa 1786 corniced chimneys. One saddlestone with prominent kneelers. No 25 has broad 3 light square mullion first floor windows in squared surround and 3 light, formerly 5 light, original chamfered mullion windows in splayed reveal on ground floor. No 27 has 2 light square mullion first floor windows and original 2 light chamfered mullion one on ground floor, circa 1786 plain squared jamb doorways.
