5/254 Dawson Weir House

G.V. II

House. Early C19. Dressed stone, slate roof. 3 storeys. 3-bay symmetrical
facade fronts road. Semi-circular arched doorway has fanlight, pilasters, open
pediment. Single light over. To either side 2-light sashed windows to each
floor. Quoins, gutter brackets. Southern end of roof has hip. 3 stacks. Left
hand return wall has watershot masonry. Rear has 5-light flat faced mullioned
stepped windows to each floor. Right hand return wall has tall stair window
with doorway under to ground floor.
