5/136 Lodge to north-west of Aldwick Court

Gate Lodge. Early C19. Wooden plank walls with attached battens on stone base
course and thatched roof. S-shaped plan in Picturesque Cottage Orne style.
1 storey with triangular-headed 3-light windows with small leaded pane glazing in
lattice patterning. Doorway to right-hand corner under triangular head, plank
and batten door. Central ashlar stack with octagonal pots. Aldwick Court (q.v.)
is in the neighbouring parish of Blagdon.
