Baptist Church. 1823. Rubble; brick surrounds to windows, formerly rendered; pyramidal slate roof 2 storeys. 3 bays; 20-pane glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads, the central one on the first floor has a semi-circular head. Central double 6-panel doors under elaborate fan light and in plain stone surround. Lean-to single storey extension to left.
INTERIOR: gallery on slender cast-iron columns; later C19 pews; 11 carved memorial tablets, mostly classical in aedicular form including the Dodge and Verr families.
