Saint Anne.

G.V. II

Church. 1912 - 13. R. B. Preston. Irregularly coursed
stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Nave with aisle
and south-west tower, chancel with south vestry and north
organ chamber. 4-bay nave, clerestory and aisles each
having 3-light ogee headed openings, a stone plinth, 2-light
traceried openings to the belfry, diagonal buttresses and a
stepped parapet. The 2-bay chancel has a 3-light cusped
east window. Interior: doubled chamfered nave arcade with
square columns and plain projecting capitals. The chancel
arch encloses a rood beam.
