Former inn of late C17 or early C18 origins, extended C20. The main building is coursed limestone rubble with thatched roof and brick buttresses. Integral gable end stack at east, one sided central stack. Modern gable end to road at west end. One storey and attics. One ground floor 3-light casement with glazing bars at east end. Small extension in stone and brick to west, with one 3-light ground floor window and one dormer.
