Lych gate. Circa 1909 (memorial inscription). Possibly designed
by Eustace Frere. Elaborate oak timberframed gateway on dressed
limestone plinth with steep gabled tiled roof. Billet moulded
sinuous carved bracketed bargeboards with cross on lozenge at
apex. Chamfered cambered tie beams carrying king post and curved
struts. Deep wooden seat each side in framed and weatherboarded
outshot with 2-light trefoil headed wooden traceried openings in
upper part. Decorative pair of low wooden gates to lane.
