Former stationmaster's house and ticket office, now house. c.1847, probably designed by Joseph Cubbitt for the Great Northern Railway. Yellow brick with hipped slate roof and overhanging eaves, 2 yellow brick wall stacks, one with later red brick top. 3 storey, single bay hipped house block with to left a single storey, L-plan gabled ticket office range. In the house a plain sash to ground floor, a pair of semi-circular headed lights to first floor and a single plain sash to the eaves. In the ticket office range a semi-circular headed archway to gable end and in the side walls 3 semi-circular headed lights.
