House. C17 or earlier. Cruck-framed with timber-framed walls and
thatched roof. One storey with attic. Front wall framed in two rows of
square panels. Two windows on ground floor and two attic dormers. Chimney
at right has junction with Meadowside (qv). Left-hand (south) gable wall
has exposed cruck truss with spurs to wall-posts, a collar, and a yoke join-
ing the tops of the blades. The lower part of the wall is infilled with
stone. On the ground floor is a window with a doorway to its right which
has plain reveals. Under the collar is an attic window.
