2/4 Barn approx. 30 metres
SE of Stours Farmhouse

Barn, c.1600. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron.
5 bays aligned approx. E-W with midstrey to S. Jowled posts with later bolted
knees, curved bracing trenched inside heavy studding. Face-halved and bladed
scarfs in wallplates. Clasped purlin roof with curved wind bracing. The
original base wall in English bond is almost wholly present.
