Parish church. Anglo-Saxon, C13 and C14. Sandstone rubble;
plain tile roof.
EXTERIOR: herringbone work to nave, with 2 splayed lancets.
West tower with truncated conical broach spire with C20
open-work superstructure.
INTERIOR: exposed roof timbers, with cusped braces to nave;
C15 screen; wall-stair to rood-loft; double piscina with
ornamented head; C14 canopy with ballflower decoration and
figure-head corbels to south wall; fragmentary wall-paintings;
tablet to Ralph and Margaret Greaves, c1638, of colourwashed
sandstone with moulded pediment on attached pillars; funeral
hatchment; East window c1865.
