The Hart's Horns


House, now public house. Early C19, altered and mid and late
C20. Yellow brick front, laid to Flemish bond, with red brick
sides, plat band at first-floor level, hipped Welsh slate
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, late C20 single storey extension at left,
2-storey red brick extension with gabled Welsh slated roof at
right. First floor has 3 squat sash windows with glazing bars,
recessed beneath rubbed brick arches; ground floor with canted
bay windows left and right. Brick stack between centre and
left-hand window suggests possibility of earlier origin.
INTERIOR: opened out into large bar area, with late C20
fittings. Interior above ground floor not inspected.
