Three ranges of 12 terraced houses of gault brick, slate roofs. Nos 50
to 53 and 58 to 61 similar; 2 storeys with basements; each house 2 windows
with glazing bars; flat arches, doorways similar with fanlight and small
flights of steps with original railings; fronts divided into bays by long
recessed panels. Nos 54 to 57, 2 storeys with attics and basements; fronts
as adjoining blocks but slightly taller and with panels above heads of
1st floor windows but without vertical recessed panels. Cast-iron railings
of various types along the front of each house. (RCHM 227).

All the listed buildings on the South Side of Jesus Lane form a group.
