Bell tower, late C13 except for bell-stage which is C16 or C17. Barnack limestone to
first two stages with bell-stage of red brick with stone quoins. Embattled and of
three stages with hipped roof, three stage set-back buttressing and newel staircase in
south-east corner. Open sided ground stage with two sides blocked in C17. Each side
has two-centred arch of three chamfered orders with half-round columns to responds
with moulded capitals and bases. In each wall of first stage is a window (now
blocked) of three pointed lights with quatrefoil to head in two-centred arch of two
moulded orders, each on an attached shaft.
