LITTLEPORT STATION ROAD

House. Late C18. Narrow gault brick, Flemish bond and plain tiled roof with
tumbled parapet gable east end and sawtooth eaves cornice. Stacks removed.
Extended on the back and with C19 building on the west. Two storeys and
attic. Three modern gable dormers. Red brick cambered arches to four C19
flush frame hung sashes with central single glazing bar. At ground floor
similar arches to two sixteen pane hung sashes and one of twelve panes. One
early C19 doorway has original wood architrave and narrow hood on shaped
brackets. Flush panelled C19 door with rectangular fanlight of fourteen
panes. Another doorway is later C19 and adjoins an area of disturbed and
later gault brickwork. There is a band between the storeys on shaped brackets
of moulded brick.
