GV II

House. Circa early C18. Painted rubble walls, slate sills, wooden lintels.
Thatched roof with stone rubble stacks over gable ends, heightened with brick shafts.
Overall T-shaped plan of original 2-room house plus probably later C18 service wing
at rear middle. Stair at left of doorway.
2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window east front with circa late C18 early C19 12-
pane 2-light horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. Doorway off-centre to right
with 4-panel door, late top-glazed, and small 6-pane casement left of doorway to
light stair. Left and right-hand window openings deepened and glazed C20.
Interior not inspected but has bowtell moulded beams in right-hand room.
This is the only C18 house in Helford with stone chimnevs
