section of churchyard wall
of Church of St Nectan

Lych gate, stile and short section of churchyard wall. Wall and stile probably C18,
lych gate probably rebuilt in the early C20. Rubble stone. Lych gate with rubble
side walls supporting a gabled slated roof with clay ridge tiles; ornamental oak
gate of circa 1945. Roof of lych gate probably also renewed at this time. Adjacent
to the left of the lych gate the stile with 3 steps up, large upright stone slab and
2 steps down into the churchyard. To left of stile a section of churchyard wall
approximately 1 metre high and 5 metres long, flat stone capping.
