Small house may originally Have been 2 cottages. Circa mid-late C17 altered in C20.
Plastered cob walls. Hipped thatch roof. 2 brick gable end stacks.
Plan: originally likely to have been identical pair of 2-room plan cottages with
entry into larger heated room at the front and small unheated service room behind.
Converted to one house probably earlier in C20 and partitions between front and back
rooms removed.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window front of C19 2-light small-paned casements
on first floor and 3-light C20 casements to ground floor. C19 plank door to right
of centre.
Interior: chamfered ceiling beam in right-hand room and open fireplace which has
cambered wooden lintel, chamfered with straight-cut stops.
