Exterior

Second-quarter C18 columnar sundial base; of sandstone on a large circular plinth, partly of slatestone. Octagonal abacus with chamfering and lip to the top; the sundial itself has been removed. The column is inscribed: `TR..T..W..T..RD..WARDENS'.
