GV II

House. Early C19. Coursed squared sandstone with painted
ashlar dressings; roof of renewed stone slates wtih stone
gable copings and chimneys. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Central
6-panel door and overlight with glazing bars in surround of
pilasters and entablature. 4-pane sashes in ground floor
canted bay windows with cornices, and in first-floor windows
with flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Eaves
gutter corbels at ends and flanking each window. Roof has
plain gable copings with chamfered feet resting on moulded
kneelers; end chimneys have plinths and top bands. Left return
has narrow sash on each floor in painted surround. INTERIOR:
not inspected.
