On the south side of the sanctuary is the tomb of Thomas Howard, third Duke of Norfolk, and his first wife, Anne Plantagenet, daughter of Edward IV. It is important as the final statement in England of religious imagery before the Reformation - note the extraordinary series of Saints around the sides.
