Cl6 altered. 3 storey. Timber framed and tile hung, single gables front. Shaped
tiles. One 6 light lead casement on 2nd floor, modern lights. Half octagon
bay window on 1st floor under heavy moulded wood cornice carried across front
at sides of bay and under gable. Plain early C19 shop front on ground floor,
with two 3 light shop windows, glazing altered, flanking central glazed door
under pent roof supported on Doric columns. Long 2 storey wing at back of timber
frame with colour washed brick infilling and irregular casement windows and doors,
including 1 window with sill taken on C16 cut bracket.
Nos 131 to 144 (consec) and Midland Bank form a group, with the Town Hall and
Nos 1 to 12 (consec), opposite.
