Taken Oct 15, 2011, Church of St Peter, Lowick, Northamptonshire.
Effigies of Ralph & Katherine de Greene, design as instructed by the latter, among very few remaining where the couple is holding hands rather than clasped in prayer.
Ralph de Greene d.1417 in France fighting with Henry V. He was son and heir of Sir Henry Greene (councillor to Richard II, beheaded by Henry IV), grandson of Sir Henry de Greene the elder (Chief Justice 1361-65) and of Sir Simon de Drayton, donor to and rebuilder of this church c.1300.
