Medieval Arch Incorpated into Maison Du Quai

A Grade II Listed Building in Cley Next The Sea, Norfolk

Medieval arch in Cley

Uploader's Comments

A 15th century arch, now part of Maison du Quai, Cley. Tradition has it that it was originally part of Blakeney Chapel (grade II), and the excavation of that site showed that it would have fitted the western entrance. However, it could have come from elsewhere, such as Blakeney Carmelite Friary
