A Grade I Listed Building in Twin Rivers, East Riding of Yorkshire

The ELLA family coat-of-arms:

This is quartered on the Haldenby shields in All Saints church, Adlingfleet. It was used by the Ella family before the English Civil War and one last official documentation of it was in 1638. Blazon (heraldic description) is: "Sable (black) a fess dancetti surmounted of 3 fleur-de-lis Or (gold)". Another blazon gives Argent (silver) for the 3 fleur-de-lis but the first blazon would be more appropriate. It was quartered by the Draper family of Flintham in Nottinghamshire and listed in the Heralds Visitations c.1614 and before, but the Ella quarter had a Yorkshire origin.
