My family has roots in Elmdon Village, having sailed for Australia on the "Plantaganet" arriving in Sydney in 1854. The Hoy family goes back to 1640 in the Elmdon area and even further in Hertfordshire in 1538. Our family travelled to the UK as our last family travels before our children married and went their separate ways. We included Elmdon as a very special visit.
