Wall plaque in marbles with Arms: Ermine three greyhounds courant sable collared gules, on a canton of the last a lion passant or (Moore of Appleby Parva). Mantling argent and sable. Crest: A Moorcock sable gutte d’or, the beak, comb, wattles, and legs gules, holding in the beak a branch of heath proper. Motto Non civium ardour. In ever loving memory of George John Moore born 19th December 1842 died 1st October 1916. (Photo Sept 2015).
