This building is now known as the Smuggler's Cott Restaurant. There is also an entrance in the narrow lane behind, known as Middle Market Street. The exterior sign claims that the building dates originally from around 1430. Some of the timbers inside are said to come from a Spanish ship that was wrecked in 1588.
