Holiday cottage. 1901. Built of 2 Great Eastern railway carriages. Timber with asphalt roof
Single storey. Entrance front has projecting gabled porch with pantile roof and C20 glazed
door. Single flanking windows, beyond the panelled ends of the carriages with triangular
windows above. North front has C20 lean-to. South front has carriage facade with 5 doors
and 2-light windows between. Barrel vaulted roof now with asphalt covering. This is a very
early, important and well preserved example of a holiday cottage constructed with disused
railway carriages.
