Early C19. 3 storeys. Bath stone on projecting plinth. Strings at 1st and
2nd floor cill levels. Moulded cornice. Blocking course. Slate roof. Symmetrical
pair, each with outer window, 4 panes wide, and inner window, 3 panes wide
to upper floors.
On ground floor each with inner door (No 19 - 6-Panel, No 20, half glazed
and later) with rectangular fanlight of crossed diagonal vertical bar pattern,
in stone architrave with cornice on console brackets. Outer bays have plain
shop windows with similar cornices on console brackets over.

St. Mary's Congregational Church, Nos 19 and 20, Sandcliffe and Northgate House
form a group.
