Tram depot, now car showroom. 1906. By WH Watkins. For Bristol
Tramways Company. Brick and roughcast, tile hipped and gable
roofs. Double-depth offices to left, open-plan garage to
right. Domestic Revival style. 2 equilateral gables over the
garage have modillioned cornices and eaves, and oculi with
oak-leaf surrounds; to the middle is an Ionic column, and to
the sides, piers of alternate brick and roughcast; offices
have brick plinths below roughcast, the entrance in a corner
turret with a 2-leaf door, cornice over, and modillion eaves
to a conical roof with a leaded finial; 2 matching dormer
gables in the left return. INTERIOR: remodelled c1980.
