Hall house, now cottage. Early C16 altered C17 and C20. Timber framed,
painted plaster infill, part painted brick; thatched roof gable on west,
hip on east. Rectangular plan, 2 framed bays hall and one bay service and
solar on east end. One and a half storeys. C17 chimney rebuilt on ridge
at east end of hall; early C19 chimney on west gable. Irregular one, 2
and 3-light metal casements, entrance on south. Interior:- most of the
frame visible to the roof. Once known as Loddon Cottage.
