East Cliff Congregation Church started in the front room of a local house, then this Small Church was erected about 1868 The ground in front of the first church was enclosed by a picket fence. Now the site of the East Cliff Church that you see today.
The first library in Bournemouth was started in the Lecture Hall and The first train station ticket office was on the other side of the road so the Church expended very quickly.
