Early-mid C19. 2 storeys, 2 windows on 1st floor. Slate roof with brick chimneys.
Rendered front. 2 three light sash windows with cambered heads on 1st floor.
2 on ground floor, separated by single light window under a depressed arch with
keystone in place of former door. Doorway with canbered head on left. All windows
and door have stucco heads and keys. North-east corner is chamfered, containing
a roll and stopped at the top. Doorway to garden has open pediment on brackets,
panelled, pilasters and a blocked fanlight.

Nos 36 to 40 (even) Church Street form a group with Stratford House, Mill Lane
and all the listed building in the Market Square.
