House. Possibly late C18 or C19. Coursed slate with large quoins, left return
roughcast, slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. End pilaster buttresses and
crow-stepped gables. Slate dripcourse stepped over porch. Windows are pointed,
with large voussoirs and casements; similar entrance has gabled open timber
porch with plank door. Left return has projecting gable-end stack, the top
corbelled-out, with round shaft on square base. Rear has small lean-to outshut;
windows under dripcourses. Wood food cupboard in angle. Property of The
National Trust.
