Loring Hall

A Grade II Listed Building in Cray Meadows, London

Bronze Plaque at Loring Hall

Uploader's Comments

Taken 23/6/13. It's just inside the drive. Apparently Lord Byron wrote of Castlereagh after his death,
"Posterity will ne'er survey
A nobler grave than this:
Here lie the bones of Castlereagh:
Stop, traveller, and piss"
Clearly Byron was not as keen on him as the sponsor of this plaque
